Fib Fact is a quick, free quiz game with a twist. We don’t ask you to come up with the answer. We give you one, and you decide whether it’s a fib or a fact.
That small change makes it a very different game. You don’t need to know the capital of Australia off by heart, just whether the answer on screen sounds right. And it’s surprisingly hard when the fib is a near-miss or the fact sounds made up.
Who it’s for
Families
Pass one phone round the table, or play on the TV browser. Easy mode is friendly for younger players.
Friends
Share a code in the group chat and play together from anywhere, with everyone on their own phone.
Classrooms & quizzers
A five-minute warm-up that gets people talking about why something is true, plus Hard mode for seasoned quizzers.
How we keep it simple
- No accounts, no downloads. It runs in the browser on any device.
- Every fib has a real answer. You always find out the truth, often with a note explaining it.
- Light on data. Online games keep only what’s needed to play, and delete it a few hours later. See Privacy & Cookies.
Got an idea, a question you’d love to see, or a correction? We’d love to hear from you.
